Our Day With Dan Mancina

We all know Michigan gets cold in the winter, but that fact doesn’t really sink in until you’re are standing in the middle of an interstate, filming the Eight Mile Road sign in 16° F weather. How do we know this? Read on.

We paid Dan Mancina a visit at his home in Michigan this past December. We met his dog Otter, he made us breakfast, and we got to see him rip his garage park. Due to a lingering cold, either the product of the frigid weather or the result of many beers consumed at a Detroit Lions game, our sauna session was not concluded with a dip in the lake.

Dan’s video parts are (obviously) impressive, however seeing a person with literally zero sight do a pop shove it frontside crooked grind first try was legitimately unbelievable. Before the end of the day, Dan showed us his plans for an adaptive skatepark on his property that will be built through his non-profit, Keep Pushing Inc. Thanks for having us, Dan.
