STREET PERSONA by Danny Bezinovich

2020 was, for obvious reasons, a rough year. Fortunately for me and my skate community there were some perks. Most schoolyards and other private spaces were fair game 24/7, and with fragmented remote work schedules and stimmy checks flowing in, we took to the streets en masse.

With increased skating comes increased wear and tear – this was especially true for me. As someone with a history of knee injuries and shoulder dislocations (without ever consulting a doctor), it’s needless to say this all caught up to me when I tore my ACL.

After getting reconstructive surgery in December 2020, I decided to work on a full length video after previous years of aimless filming that usually contributed to other friends’ projects.

The final product is STREET PERSONA – a full length skate video featuring a nice collection of folks in LA and my hometown of Chicago that I am very proud to call friends.

Adam Abada and Kevin Horn are an excellent skater/photographer combo.
