Village Psychic Presents: Dane Vaughn in "The Cajun Gypsy"

'Oh we have to leave the spot? You want a hit of this?' Dane obviously has a sense of humor and we are hyped on that. As seen in DGK's Blood Money, 2014.

Dane Vaughn, AKA the Cajun Gypsy (he grew up all over the country but reps his birthplace of Louisiana), clearly understands how to use Instagram. His posts range from hilarious (giving animals marijuana, altercations with authorities) to gnarly (he constantly posts photos of never-before-done tricks at J Kwon). There isn't much more one could want from a skater's Instagram account. In fact, he may have our favorite. Here are some 2014 highlights from the #CajunGypsy:

Companies are watching for people using these tools correctly, some are watching more than others, so they should be looking at Dane as the smartest business investment imaginable.

Logging all those Instagram clips didn't slow Dane down one bit when out filming with an actual camera. Heelflip BS Noseblunt, also seen in Blood Money, 2014.

It is not just the amazing photos and captions he is posting that make for the most entertaining account, he is also posting ridiculous skate footage almost daily. In fact, the footage is so good that we figured it was only a matter of time before someone compiled his footage into an actual edit. Being the enterprising young skate blog we are, we took it upon ourselves to produce such an edit. Call us old fashioned, but we would prefer to see a full online part, not just a series of clips on Instagram. Here it is:

In 2014 we saw Dane close out the montage section in DGK's Blood Money, film a part for Find the Air and blow us away with his Always on the Grind part for Venture. The jokes and shredding of his Instagram feed served as an added bonus to the dudes already productive year. We can't wait to see what the Cajun Gypsy brings us in 2015.

Do yourself a favor and follow Dane if you haven't.
